Agur (Goodbye) 2024. Kaixo (Hello) 2025! Here’s to making resolutions that make sense to you, lift you, and add to your year. Here’s to creating more memorable experiences!
One resolution that we love is to travel more. Why? Because travel broadens your mind and can make you happy. We hope this year is full of travels for you, and that you can plan a trip filled with unforgettable flavours and new destinations. Because let’s be honest—being a foodie and a traveler is the ultimate duo.
We at Eat One Feed One Food, believe in celebrating this new year with bold flavours, new connections, and a sense of purpose. That’s why we’re inviting you to start 2025 with a journey to Donostia-San Sebastian, a true paradise for food lovers.
Whether you’re dreaming of warm summer days (or romantic misty days because the Basque Country is known for being rainy too) filled with pintxos or exploring a new culinary adventure, Donosti offers a perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and social impact.
2024: A YEAR OF FLAVOUR AND IMPACT IN SAN SEBASTIÁN
Thanks to travelers like you, we’ve donated 690 meals to local organizations:
- 140 meals to Cáritas Gipuzkoa through our “Pintxo and Food Tour.”
- 550 meals to Zaporeak through our “Desserts for Breakfast Tour.”
Thank YOU! These meals are a testament to how food can foster connection and community. Ms. Maya Angelou said it best: “Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.”
We believe food and travel are catalysts for connection, understanding, and meaningful change. To travel responsibly is not just to explore new places, but to leave behind a positive imprint on the communities that welcome us.
Regenerative tourism pioneer Anna Pollock says the future of travel lies not in unchecked expansion, but in fostering genuine care and stewardship. In her thought-provoking presentation “Investing in Future Values,” she states:
“I believe travel and hospitality will sustain a far greater level of prosperity for itself and the communities it serves when it shifts its primary purpose from growth to one of caring and sharing.”
Tourism thrives when it nurtures the people and places it touches. It calls for a shift toward sustainable and regenerative models that prioritize both the visitor’s experience and the well-being of the local community.
Kaixo and Hello 2025: Let’s START THE YEAR CELEBRATING!
